Welcome to CheckOMR (checkomr.com), owned and operated by Devish Gavel ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use CheckOMR.

2. Description of Service

CheckOMR is an online tool designed to allow teachers, educators, and users to scan, process, and grade Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets.

  • Cost: The CheckOMR software and service are provided 100% free of charge.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of CheckOMR, you may need to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User-Generated Content & Ownership

To use CheckOMR, you may upload files, images of OMR sheets, and related test data ("User Content").

  • Your Ownership: You retain full and complete ownership of all User Content you upload.

  • Our Usage: We claim no intellectual property rights over your uploaded files. We only use your User Content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (e.g., scanning the images and processing the test scores). We do not use your data to train public AI models or for any other secondary purposes.

5. Prohibited Conduct

By using CheckOMR, you agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Using the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.

  • Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or compromise the security of the website or our servers.

  • Sharing your account credentials with unauthorized users or attempting to resell our free service to others.

  • Uploading any malicious files, viruses, malware, or corrupted data.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

CheckOMR is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to provide a highly accurate OMR grading tool, we do not guarantee 100% accuracy in the processing of OMR sheets or test scores. Users are encouraged to manually verify results when dealing with critical exams. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devish Gavel and CheckOMR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of educational standing, or business interruptions, resulting from your use or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to CheckOMR at any time, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of these Terms of Service.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the jurisdiction of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal disputes arising from the use of CheckOMR shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
